Police Contain Major Fires in Herat and Nangarhar; Hundreds of Millions in Property Saved

Firefighters of the Herat Provincial Police Command successfully contained a major fire in Phase Two of the Herat Industrial Park through a timely and professional response. Property valued at 650 million Afghanis was rescued from the blaze.
Meanwhile, another fire in the First District of Jalalabad City, the center of Nangarhar Province, was prevented from spreading. Property worth 1 million Afghanis was also saved from the flames.
One person lost their life in the Herat fire, and the incident caused 20 million Afghanis in financial losses.
