Over the Past Week, 57 Armed Taliban Killed in Farah Province

Over the past week, 57 armed Taliban including several senior commanders of armed Taliban were killed during a series of operations launched by Afghan National Defense and Security Forces in Farah province.

13 different types of IEDs and some amount of light and heavy rounds of ammunition were also seized.

In the meantime, over the past week, Afghan National Police arrested 45 individuals accused of different criminal acts in Farah province.

In a separate report, Afghan National Police arrested three in probe into suspected planned attack in Farah province, yesterday.

One vehicle and one drum full of explosives seized as well.
