Over 800Kg Drugs Seized in Nangarhar Province

Yesterday, Afghan Counter-Narcotics Special Operation Police seized 822kg hashish and 35kg heroin during three separate operations conducted in Surkh Rod, Khogyani and Rodat districts, eastern Nangarhar province.

A drug trafficker was also arrested and the drugs were recovered from two vehicles hidden in its compartments.

The Ministry of Interior Affairs is committed to fight against narcotics and Afghan Counter-Narcotics Special Operation Police are having major success in fighting against smugglers and narcotics, which will continue.
