Trafficking of More Than 400 Kilograms of Drugs Prevented in Kunduz Province

Counter-Narcotics Police personnel of the Kunduz Provincial Police Command arrested five individuals in two separate intelligence operations on the Badakhshan–Kunduz highway. The suspects were arrested while transporting 401 kilograms of opium, which they had loaded in Badakhshan Province and were attempting to smuggle to other provinces.
Following preliminary investigations by the police, the arrested individuals will be referred to the relevant judicial and prosecutorial authorities.
