Cash Assistance Distributed to 300 Needy Families in Kabul
The Ministry of Interior Affairs’ Deputy Ministry for Counter-Narcotics distributed cash assistance to 300 needy families in Kabul who had previously been identified as eligible for assistance by an appointed committee.
Speaking at a gathering held on the occasion, Al-Hajj Sheikh Abdul Rahman Munir, Deputy Minister for Counter-Narcotics, said that alongside efforts to prevent begging, work is also underway to provide attention and support to poor and needy citizens.
Under the program, each eligible family received AFN 5,000 in cash to help them meet their basic needs
