More Than 100 Kilograms of Opium Seized in Takhar Province

Police forces of the Takhar Provincial Police Command seized 107 kilograms of opium and arrested two individuals during an intelligence-led operation.

The suspects had skillfully concealed the narcotics inside a vehicle and intended to smuggle them to an unknown destination. They were arrested before the drugs could be transported.

The detained individuals are currently under investigation by the security authorities and will be referred to the relevant judicial and legal institutions upon the completion of the preliminary investigation.
