Security Forces Discover Weapons and Ammunition, Prevent Smuggling of Valuable Timber

Counterterrorism personnel of the Paktika Provincial Police Command, during an intelligence-led operation in Bakhil District, discovered and seized four Kalashnikov rifles, 205 rounds of ammunition, eight magazines, and one bag that were being kept illegally.
Meanwhile, personnel from the Forest Protection and Monitoring Unit of the Paktika Provincial Police Command intercepted a tanker truck transporting valuable timber illegally. A quantity of precious wood was found loaded on the vehicle.
In a separate operation, security forces of the Aqcha District Police Command in Jawzjan Province arrested two individuals in connection with the theft of a rickshaw.
