Eight-Member Theft Ring Arrested in Herat City

Security forces from the Third Police District of the Herat Provincial Police Command have arrested an eight-member gang of professional thieves who allegedly used deception and a rickshaw to steal cash and valuables from passengers.
According to authorities, the suspects would pick up passengers in a rickshaw and, with the assistance of their accomplices, skillfully steal the victims' money and personal belongings during the journey.
The arrested individuals have confessed to the charges, and their case has been referred to the relevant judicial and legal authorities for further proceedings.
