Security Forces Discover and Seize a Cache of Weapons and Ammunition in Paktia

Security forces, during an intelligence-led operation in the Nari China area of Dand Patan district, Paktia province, discovered and seized a cache of weapons and ammunition, including 8,000 rounds of MP ammunition, 12 hand grenades, and 500 rounds of DShK ammunition.

According to preliminary information, the ammunition had been concealed by smugglers with the intention of transporting it to Pakistan. The cache was successfully discovered and confiscated by security forces before it could be moved.

No arrests have been made in connection with the incident so far. However, the identities of those responsible have been established, and they will be arrested following the completion of the investigation and dealt with in accordance with the law.
