One Member of an Armed Robbery Gang Arrested, Another Injured in Faryab

Security forces of the Qaisar District Police Command, in coordination with personnel from the district Intelligence Directorate, identified a gang of armed professional robbers during a targeted operation on the road between Arzliq Village and the Qaisar District Bazaar in Faryab Province.

The suspects resisted the security forces, resulting in an exchange of fire in which one gang member was arrested, another was injured, and two other members fled the scene. Efforts are ongoing to locate and apprehend the remaining suspects.

No security personnel were harmed during the operation. A pistol, one magazine, and a quantity of ammunition were seized from the arrested suspect.

The injured suspect was transferred to a hospital for medical treatment, while the arrested individual was taken to the detention facility of the Qaisar District Police Command for further investigation and legal proceedings.
