Director General of Public Relations of the Ministry of Interior Visits Kunar Province
Al-Haj Mawlawi Abdul Hakim Hemat Akhundzada, Director General of Public Relations of the Ministry of Interior, visited Kunar Province, where he met with Al-Haj Mawlawi Qudratullah Abu Hamza, the Governor of Kunar, Mawlawi Abdullah Haqqani, Deputy Governor, Mawlawi Zia-ul-Haq Hamed, Police Commander, Mawlawi Mohammad Amin Haqparast, Chief of the Governor's Office, and Mawlawi Najibullah Hanif, Director of Information and Culture.
He also, in the presence of Samiullah Taroon, Head of National Radio and Television in Kunar, held a joint meeting with representatives of local, national, and international media outlets.
Al-Haj Mawlawi Abdul Hakim Hemat Akhundzada highlighted the important role of the media in raising public awareness, strengthening relations between government institutions and citizens, and promoting intellectual development. He also announced the Directorate's readiness to activate the Police Radio in Kunar Province in coordination with provincial officials.
Meanwhile, Al-Haj Mawlawi Zia-ul-Haq Hamed, Police Commander of Kunar, described the media as an effective means of communication and assured full cooperation to further strengthen media activities across the province.
During the visit, and in accordance with the directive of the Honorable Khalifa Sahib Sirajuddin Haqqani, Minister of Interior Affairs, stationery was distributed to 600 students of the province's central orphanage. The delegation also presented a number of public awareness promotional materials to the provincial authorities.
