Thousands of Intoxicant Tablets and Cannabis Seized in Takhar and Kabul Provinces

Counter-narcotics police forces, during separate operations, seized nearly 4,000 intoxicant tablets along with 4 kilograms of cannabis from the Third Police District of Taloqan City, the capital of Takhar Province. They also confiscated 1,459 additional intoxicant tablets from the 12th Police District of Kabul City.
Four individuals were arrested in connection with the trafficking and sale of the seized narcotics. After the completion of their case files, they will be referred to the relevant judicial authorities for legal proceedings.
