Counter-Narcotics Deputy Minister Meets with CARICC Leadership
Sheikh Abdul Rahman Munir, Deputy Minister for Counter-Narcotics, met in his office with Mahmud Khadimov, Head of the Central Asian Regional Information and Coordination Centre (CARICC), and Azizbek Arkaboyev, Advisor to the organization.
At the outset of the meeting, the Deputy Minister welcomed the delegation and stated that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, particularly the Deputy Ministry for Counter-Narcotics, maintains comprehensive cooperation with neighboring countries and Central Asian states in the fight against narcotics. He called on CARICC officials and authorities to further strengthen cooperation in this area.
In response, CARICC officials said they are working to establish stronger and more effective coordination with the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in combating narcotics.
