Police Forces Seize Weapons and Ammunition in Dih-Salah District of Baghlan Province

During a discovery operation in the Dih-Salah district of Andarab, Baghlan province, police forces uncovered and seized 18 different types of weapons and ammunition from two residential houses. The seized ammunition included:

1 Kalashnikov rifle with three magazines

1 pistol

1 metal box containing anti-aircraft shells

1 metal box containing Zikouik shells

4 metal boxes of Kalashnikov ammunition

186 rounds of Kalashnikov cartridges

14 rounds of BM-1

16 rounds of 82mm shoulder-fired artillery shells

26 rounds of 75mm artillery shells

28 explosive warheads for BM-1

30 rounds of Pika (each containing 15 rounds, totaling 450 rounds)

4 hand grenades with fuses

2 hand grenades, 

A quantity of tank gunpowder and other ammunition
