Thousands of Kilograms of Narcotics Seized in Anti-Drug Operations in Helmand

The Counter-Narcotics Directorate of the Helmand Police Command, based on intelligence reports, conducted operations in various areas of Baghran, Gereshk, and Lashkargah city. As a result, 8,764 kilograms of various narcotic and chemical substances were discovered and seized.

The confiscated items include:

4,395 kg of lime (Ahak)

3,300 kg of soda

690 kg of oxil

128 liters of acid

250 kg of caustic soda (sud)

1,400 grams of raw hashish

34 grams of narcotic tablets

Four individuals were arrested during the operations, along with three vehicles. The suspects are currently under investigation and will be referred to judicial authorities upon completion of the inquiries.
