32 Individuals Arrested in Connection with Drug Trafficking Across Seven Provinces

Counter-Narcotics Police arrested 32 individuals during a series of separate operations in the provinces of Herat, Khost, Kunduz, Maidan Wardak, Balkh, Helmand, and Farah. The individuals were detained on charges related to the sale and transportation of illegal drugs.

During the operations, authorities seized 9 kilograms of opium, 1 kilogram of methamphetamine (shisha), 9 bottles of alcoholic beverages, and 801 narcotic tablets from the suspects.
