Monthly Administrative and Coordination Meeting of the Commission for Removing Beggars and Preventing Begging Held
The monthly administrative and coordination meeting of the Commission for Removing Beggars and Preventing Begging was held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Minister for Counter-Narcotics of the Ministry of Interior.
Deputies of the relevant ministries and representatives of independent agencies that are members of the Commission for the Prevention of Begging attended the meeting.
At the beginning of the meeting, Al-Haj Sheikh Abdul Rahman Munir, Deputy Minister for Counter-Narcotics, reviewed with the participants the process of collecting beggars and the ongoing process of providing assistance to needy beggars.
He said that in recent days, the process of removing beggars in the capital, Kabul, and other provinces of the country has accelerated, with greater attention being paid to the issue to ensure that needy beggars receive the necessary assistance.
Sheikh Munir thanked representatives of the relevant ministries and independent agencies for their better cooperation and coordination in collecting beggars and providing them with vocational training. He expressed hope that the process would be properly managed and organized.
In continuation, the deputies of the relevant ministries and representatives of the independent agencies that are members of the Commission for the Prevention of Begging assured that they would continue to cooperate and coordinate further in collecting beggars and other related areas.
