Large Weapons Cache Discovered in Alishing District of Laghman

A cache of various types of ammunition was discovered in Alishing District of Laghman Province.

Police forces, during a discovery operation in the Saigal Valley of the district, uncovered and seized a hideout containing heavy and light weapons ammunition.

The seized items include:
 51 mortar rounds, 
2 rounds of 82mm mortar ammunition, 
200 rounds of DShK ammunition, 
100 rounds of PK machine gun ammunition, one anti-personnel mine, 
28 mortar warheads, 
4 warheads for 82mm mortars.

So far, no one has been arrested in connection with the seized ammunition; however, police efforts and investigations are ongoing.
