Large Cache of Weapons and Ammunition Seized in Uruzgan

Afghan National Police (ANP) have discovered a large cache of weapons and ammunition during a search operation in Trin- Kot City of Uruzgan.

The cache containing one mortar, 16 mortar rounds, one rocket launcher with 22 rockets, three PK machine guns, one AK-47 rifle, one bomb launcher, one pistol, two radio handsets, two vehicles and some amount of military equipment.

ANP arrested 17 suspects on accusation of this seizure and seized more than 3000 bullets of PK machine gun and AK-47 rifle as well.
