Al-Haj Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, the Minister of Interior, traveled to Dili District of Paktika Province. During his visit, the Minister attended and delivered a speech at a public gathering organized by the elders, influential figures, officials, and youth of the district. At the beginning of the event, Haji Mohammad Haleem, speaking on behalf of the local people, warmly welcomed the Minister and described his visit as a great honor for the residents of the district. The Minister of Interior expressed his appreciation for the sacrifices made by the people of the district during the period of jihad for the establishment of the Islamic system. He stated that although this district may be materially poor, it holds great spiritual significance. Khalifa Sahib emphasized the importance of avoiding division and maintaining unity between the people and the government, saying: “Just as we were united during the jihad, we must remain united now as well and place national interests above personal ones.” He further added that for Afghans, religion and homeland hold special importance, and therefore, with firm faith, everyone should work together for the progress of the country. He assured that the government’s doors are open to the people and underscored the need for national solidarity. In his remarks directed to the security forces, the Minister advised that people should be gently guided toward Islamic values and urged the forces to treat the public with kindness and respect.
