H.E. Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, Minister of Interior Affairs, met with the Ambassador of the State of Qatar, Dr. Mirdef Alqashouti.

During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral relations between Afghanistan and the State of Qatar, the regional situation, and enhancing engagement between Afghanistan and the international community. H.E. Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani praised Qatar’s constructive role in this regard and expressed his appreciation.

The two sides also exchanged views on security cooperation and efforts to combat narcotics.
