Eight Taliban Militants Killed

Eight Taliban militants were killed and six suspects were arrested during several clearance operations carried out by General Command of Police Special Units (GCPSU).

The operations carried out in Tarinkoot City capital of Uruzgan, Guzara district of Herat, Baraki Barak district of Logar and Paghman district of Kabul.

Thirty-five roadside bombs, six different types of rifles, 21 mortar rounds, one vehicle and some amount of military equipment and ammunition were also seized.

No civilian and CCPSU member was harmed.
