Dozens Arrested in Kabul for Drug Trafficking and Sale

A total of 72 individuals were arrested in connection with the trafficking and sale of narcotics as a result of separate operations carried out by counter-narcotics police forces in various parts of Kabul city. After the completion of their respective case files, the suspects will be handed over to judicial and legal authorities.
Thousands of narcotic tablets, dozens of liters of alcoholic beverages, as well as quantities of hashish, crystal meth, opium, and fermented raisins were seized from the arrested individuals.
