Director General of Public Relations Pays Official Visit to Maidan Wardak Province

Al-Haj Mawlawi Abdul Hakim Hemat Akhundzada, Director General of Public Relations of the Ministry of Interior Affairs, led a delegation on an official visit to Maidan Wardak Province.

During the visit, he held separate meetings with Al-Haj Mullah Abdul Zahir Mudassir, Deputy Governor of the province, and Al-Haj Brigadier General Mawlawi Abdul Haq Haqqani, Provincial Police Commander of Maidan Wardak. The meetings focused on the security situation, challenges faced by the people, police activities, and improving coordination with the media.

The Director General of Public Relations also met with journalists, media officials, and writers at the Directorate of Information and Culture of the province, emphasizing the importance of conveying professional, responsible, and accurate information.

He also commended the Deputy Governor and Provincial Police Commander of Maidan Wardak for their efforts toward the development of the province, serving the people, and cooperating with the media.

During the visit, the Director General of Public Relations also visited the provincial orphanage and children’s care center. He met with orphaned children and distributed educational materials and stationery to them.

He emphasized the need to support children without guardians, stating that caring for and supporting orphaned children is a shared responsibility of society. He added that these children have the right to receive love, attention, respect, and a bright future.

On the same occasion, the Provincial Police Commander of Maidan Wardak also provided financial assistance to the orphaned children.
