Director General of Public Relations of the Ministry of Interior Meets Provincial Officials, Media Representatives, and Orphan Students in Nuristan
Al-Haj Mawlawi Abdul Hakim Hemat Akhundzada, Director General of Public Relations at the Ministry of Interior, led a delegation to Nuristan Province, where he met with Al-Haj Qari Zain-ul-Abidin Abid, the provincial governor. During the visit, he also held a coordination meeting with media representatives and distributed school supplies and backpacks to nearly 200 orphan students at the Nuristan Orphanage. The assistance had been allocated by Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, Minister of Interior Affairs.
Mr. Akhundzada commended the ongoing development projects in Nuristan, pledged that the Police Radio station would soon become operational in the province, and emphasized the constructive role of the media. The Governor of Nuristan described the visit as beneficial and praised the Ministry's efforts in supporting orphaned children and strengthening cooperation with the media.
As part of the visit, a meeting was also held with tribal elders from the provincial center and the nine districts of Nuristan. Discussions focused on supporting the system, promoting tribal unity, and enhancing coordination. The elders expressed their full support and cooperation with the Islamic Emirate's administration and stressed the importance of joint efforts to further strengthen national unity and stability.
Additionally, during the coordination meeting with media representatives, participants discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the media and government institutions and to further develop effective relations between both sides.
At the conclusion of the visit, a number of provincial officials and journalists were honored with gifts in recognition of their activities and cooperation.
