The Deputy Ministry for Counter Narcotics Distributed Cash Assistance to 250 Needy Families In Kabul Province.
The Deputy Ministry for Counter Narcotics of the Ministry of Interior distributed 5,000 Afghanis in cash and one set of clothing to each of 250 needy families and beggars who had previously been identified as eligible by the designated committee.
The ceremony was attended by Al-Haj Sheikh Abdul Rahman "Munir," Deputy Minister for Counter Narcotics, Mawlawi Abdul Rahman "Qasimi," Civilian Deputy of the Deputy Ministry, members of the leadership committee responsible for collecting beggars, a number of directors, mujahideen, and personnel from government institutions.
In his speech at the event, Al-Haj Sheikh Abdul Rahman Munir spoke about the responsibility of the government and wealthy individuals toward those in need. He stated that the Islamic Emirate has always supported and will continue to support needy people. He also called on those who engage in begging professionally and in an organized manner to stop doing so; otherwise, they would face punishment for their actions.
