Deputy Minister For Counternarcotics Traveled to Ghor Province
The deputy minister for counternarcotics, Al-Haj Sheikh Abdul Rahman Munir, traveled to Ghor province with a delegation, where he attended a meeting with the provincial governor, police commander, district governors, tribal elders, and relevant officials.
During the meeting, provincial officials highlighted the existing coordination among institutions in the fight against narcotics, while the deputy minister urged all sides to further strengthen their cooperation in this regard.
Additionally, the head of provincial affairs, Mawlawi Asadullah Halim, read the decree of the leader of the Islamic Emirate regarding the prohibition of narcotics, and the deputy for civil affairs, Mawlawi Abdul Rahman Qasimi, delivered remarks on the harmful effects of narcotics.
Later, the deputy minister visited the treatment and rehabilitation camp for drug addicts, reviewed the activities of the center, and provided necessary recommendations to officials for better management. He also praised the efforts of the staff of the center.
