Counter Narcotics Police Arrest 22 Individuals in Connection with Drug Trafficking and Sale

The Counter Narcotics Police of the Ministry of Interior Affairs arrested 22 individuals in connection with the trafficking and sale of narcotics in the provinces of Herat, Kunar, Parwan, and Khost. Following preliminary investigations, the detainees were handed over to the judicial and legal authorities for further proceedings.

During the operations, police seized over five kilograms of hashish, eight liters of alcoholic beverages, one kilogram of crystal meth (shisha), and nearly two thousand intoxicating tablets from the possession of the arrested individuals.
