Bamyan Police Chief Meets with Minister of Communications and Information Technology

Al-Haj Mawlawi Habibullah Shakir, the Police Chief of Bamyan Province, welcomed the Minister of Communications and Information Technology and his accompanying delegation during a meeting at his office. He stated that the remote areas of Bamyan are now in greater need than ever of expanded telecommunications and information technology services.
He also noted that security has been fully maintained across Bamyan Province, adding that the province has consistently hosted senior government officials as well as members of the public. He emphasized that technology plays a vital role in growth, development, and the delivery of improved public services.
During the meeting, Al-Haj Mawlawi Abdul Ahad Fazli, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, said that the prevailing security and peaceful environment in Bamyan reflect effective security measures, sound management, and the special attention of the provincial leadership and the Police Chief. He added that these conditions provide a suitable foundation for the expansion of telecommunications and information technology services throughout the province.
