ANP Seized 4,000Kg of Sodium Nitrate in Kabul

Afghan National Police (ANP) have seized about 4,000kg of sodium nitrate, a key component used to make Improvised Explosive Devices. 
ANP stopped and searched the truck in PD#9 of Kabul City where they found the sodium nitrate.
The driver was arrested in connection with the case.
Discoveries like this demonstrate the ever-increasing capability of Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) to protect the civilians from indiscriminate IED attacks.
Afghan National Police (ANP) encourages all citizens to report suspicious activities and criminal acts by dialing 119 and their identity won’t be disclosed.
