ANDSF Launch Major Clearance Operation in Andkhoi

Yesterday, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) launched large-scale counterinsurgency joint clearance operation codenamed Shahin in Andkhoi district of Faryab. As a result, eight Taliban terrorists killed and 13 others wounded.
It’s worth mentioning, 10 villages of Andkhoi cleared of terrorists and several Taliban strongholds destroyed.
Unfortunately, an Afghan National Defense and Security Forces member martyred and three others wounded.
The joint clearance operation still continues in insecure villages of Andkhoi district.
The Afghan National Defense and Security Forces have stepped up Counter-Terrorism operations to suppress the insurgency activities of the terror groups.
