Afghan Interior Ministry Counter-Narcotics Delegation Travels to Indonesia

An eight-member delegation from the Counter-Narcotics Directorate of Afghanistan’s Ministry of Interior, led by Mawlavi Hasibullah Ahmadi, Head of the Directorate’s Office, has departed for an official visit to Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia. The delegation includes several directors from the Counter-Narcotics Directorate as well as officials from the Ministry of Public Health.
The delegation is traveling at the official invitation of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in Kabul, with financial support from the Government of Japan, to participate in a meeting aimed at strengthening joint efforts in counter-narcotics activities and the treatment of drug addicts.
