Afghan Counter-Narcotics Special Operation Police and GCPSU Destroy Heroin Lab in Badakhshan Province

Afghan Counter-Narcotics Special Operation Police and General Command of Police Special Units (GCPSU) carried out a joint operation in Nimtala village, Darayem district of northeastern Badakhshan province, destroying a heroin factory.

Among the drugs and materials, 200kg of liquid opium and some amount of chemical substance which has been used in making heroin, were also destroyed.

The Ministry of Interior is committed to the fight against narcotics and Afghan National Counter-narcotics Police are having major success in fighting against smugglers and narcotics, which will continue.
