Afghan Air Force Strikes Taliban Hideout, Killing Seven

Six armed Taliban including a local commander of armed Taliban killed after Afghan Air Forces struck a militants’ hideout in Kariz Badal village, Pusht Rod district, western Farah province.
Weapons and vehicles belonging to the armed militants were also destroyed during the air raid.
In a separate report, a local commander of armed Taliban was killed after Afghan Air Forces targeted a running vehicle in Bakwa district, Farah province.
The Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) have stepped up counter-terrorism operations with improved close-air support to suppress the insurgency activities of the anti-government armed militant groups.
