Acting Minister of Interior Affairs, IEA met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan

Yesterday, Acting Minister of Interior Affairs, H.E. Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Mr. Baxtiyor Saidov.

In this meeting, apart from welcoming the Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan, H.E. Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani talked about strengthening the relations and good neighborliness between the two countries. 

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan praised the efforts of the Islamic Emirate for security in Afghanistan and the successful fight against narcotics. He called these measures important for the stability of the region. Also, in addition to historical and cultural common values ​​between the two countries, the initiation and continuation of economic projects were also mentioned.

H.E. Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani assured Mr. Baxtiyor about the good security in the country and mentioned that it is necessary to start those economic projects which have a greater impact on the stability of the region.
