9 Individuals Arrested in Kunar for Smuggling Timber

Personnel of the Forest Protection Unit of the Kunar Provincial Police Command arrested nine people during a series of intelligence operations in various areas of Dara-e-Pech District for smuggling timber, along with a Datsun vehicle.
Shamsullah Sarhadi, commander of the Forest Protection Unit, said the individuals were arrested while illegally transporting timber from forests for the purpose of smuggling.
