86 Weapons and Large Quantity of Ammunition Seized in Baghlan Province

Police forces in Baghlan Province carried out several intelligence-based operations, during which a number of light and heavy weapons, along with military ammunition, were discovered and confiscated from different parts of the province.
Mawlawi Mohammad Naseem Zolfaqar, Head of the Counter-Terrorism Department of the Baghlan Police Command, stated that during these operations, a total of 86 various types of weapons were seized. These include:

15 Kalashnikov rifles, 
62 pistols, 
2 PK machine guns, 
Several other types of firearms.

Additionally, a significant amount of ammunition and military equipment was recovered, including:

1,700 rounds of Kalashnikov ammunition, 
559 rounds of PK ammunition, 
137 rounds of DShK ammunition, 
116 rounds of Beretta ammunition, 
Other military supplies and equipment.
