8100kg of Hashish Discovered and Burned in Paktia Province

Afghan Counter-Narcotics Special Operation Police, General Command of Police Special Units (GCPSU) backed by Afghan Air Forces conducted an overnight special operation in Ziauddin village, Zazai Aryoub district, eastern Paktia province, destroying five drug caches containing 8100kg of hashish and 1000kg of bang seed.

Among the drugs and materials, six different types of rifles and some amount of military equipment and ammunition were also seized.

One suspected drug-trafficker arrested as well.

The Ministry of Interior is committed to the fight against narcotics and Afghan National Counter-narcotics Police are having major success in fighting against smugglers and narcotics, which will continue.
