64 Individuals Arrested for Drug Trafficking and Sale Across 16 Provinces

A total of 64 individuals have been arrested in connection with drug trafficking and sale during separate operations carried out by the Counter-Narcotics Police in 16 provinces.
The arrests were made in Paktia, Laghman, Parwan, Kapisa, Bamyan, Balkh, Jowzjan, Sar-e Pol, Maidan Wardak, Daykundi, Ghor, Nimruz, Helmand, Ghazni, and Kunar.
During the operations, police seized:

9 kilograms of methamphetamine, 
Nearly 5 kilograms of opium, 
5 kilograms of hashish, 
2,500 narcotic tablets, 
Dozens of liters of fermented raisins, and a quantity of alcohol.
