48 Kilograms of Opium Seized in Maidan Wardak

Anti-narcotics police forces of the Maidan Wardak Provincial Police Command identified and arrested one person while he was smuggling 48 kilograms of opium from Balkh to Farah province.
The suspect was arrested during a search and inspection of vehicles in Syedabad district of Maidan Wardak, while transporting the drugs, which had reportedly been loaded in Balkh.
