A 47-Year Feud Between Two Families in Shamal Do Manda District of Khost Province Turns into Friendship

In a ceremony attended by Deputy Governor Mawlawi Mahboob Shah Qanit, a number of scholars, tribal elders, and other officials and personnel of Khost province, a 47-year hostility between two families was transformed into friendship.

In his speech, Mr. Qanit described harmful customs and traditions as the main cause of such conflicts and praised the Islamic Emirate’s efforts in resolving disputes.

In the end, the two families expressed their gratitude for the efforts of the Islamic Emirate and pledged that they would no longer engage in any retaliatory actions and would live together as brothers.
