40-Year Feud Between Two Families in Nangarhar Ends in Reconciliation
Following repeated peaceful mediation efforts by the Advisory Council for Dawah and Guidance of the Behsud District Police Command in Nangarhar Province, along with the support of religious scholars and tribal elders, a 40-year-long feud between two families came to an end. During the conflict, nine people had lost their lives.
Both families forgave one another, embraced in a spirit of brotherhood, and pledged to maintain lasting peace.
The leadership of the Nangarhar Police Command also expressed appreciation for the tireless efforts of all mediators and community elders who worked to resolve the dispute and prevent further bloodshed.
