32 Kilograms of Narcotics and Two Firearms Seized in Takhar and Baghlan Provinces

Counter-Narcotics Police forces seized a total of 32 kilograms of narcotics and two firearms during separate operations in Takhar and Baghlan provinces.

In Takhar Province, police arrested one individual who was attempting to smuggle 24 kilograms of opium concealed inside a vehicle.

In a separate operation in Pul-e-Khumri, the capital of Baghlan Province, police arrested three individuals on charges of drug dealing and illegal possession of firearms. During the operation, officers seized two firearms, eight kilograms of hashish, and a quantity of narcotic tablets.
