24 Individuals Arrested in Connection with Various Crimes, Weapons and Ammunition Seized Across 6 Provinces 

Police forces, during several separate operations over the past 24 hours, arrested 24 individuals in connection with theft, smuggling, and harassment of the public.

Among those arrested were:

9 thieves and 2 gamblers from Herat, 
5 individuals involved in the illegal cutting of peach trees from Batikot District, 
4 individuals linked to the smuggling of 170 kilograms of human hair from Kot District of Nangarhar Province,
 2 thieves from Logar,
 1 thief from Ghazni,
 1 individual arrested with a firearm in connection with harassing the public from Firdaws District of Faryab Province.

Additionally, police seized:

1 Kalashnikov rifle, 
3 magazines, 
170 rounds of ammunition from an unauthorized individual in the Fifth Police District, 
1 pistol with three magazines from Zazi Aryob District of Paktia Province.
