143 Kilograms of Opium Seized in Takhar Province

Anti-Narcotics Police forces of  Takhar Provincial Police Command arrested 6 individuals in connection with the trafficking of 143 kilograms of opium in Kalfagan District of the province.
The suspects were arrested while they had skillfully concealed the drugs inside a vehicle and were transporting them to an unknown destination.
Following preliminary investigations by the police, the arrested individuals will be handed over to the relevant judicial and legal authorities.
