137 Kilograms of Opium Seized in Herat and Baghlan Provinces

Counter Narcotics Police of Herat Province, during an intelligence-based operation in the Shor Bazaar area of Koh Zor District, arrested one individual in connection with the trafficking of 83 kilograms of liquid opium.

Meanwhile, Counter Narcotics Police of Baghlan Province arrested another individual in the Doshaakh area of Khinjan District, who had skillfully concealed 54 kilograms of opium inside a vehicle and was attempting to smuggle it to Kabul.
