12 Arrested in Connection with Various Criminal Offenses in Four Provinces

Criminal Investigation Police of the Ministry of Interior, in several separate operations across four provinces, arrested 12 individuals in connection with theft, illegal possession of weapons, and murder.
Of those arrested:
4 people were detained in Ghazni city for misusing the name of the Mujahideen and extorting money from people,
3 people were arrested in Ab Band district of Ghazni province for carrying an illegal handgun,
3 were arrested in Bakwa district of Farah province in connection with a residential burglary,
1 individual was arrested in Manori district of Kunar province in connection with the murder of his son,
1 thief was arrested in Maimana city, the capital of Faryab province.
The arrested individuals will be handed over to the judicial and legal authorities following preliminary investigations.
