11 Individuals Arrested in Various Crimes; 12 Weapons Handed Over to DIAG

In several separate operations, the Criminal Investigation Police of the Ministry of Interior arrested three thieves in Muqur District and two others in connection with the theft of AFN 110,000 from a residential house in Waghaz District of Ghazni Province. They also arrested three thieves in Farah Province and three others in connection with timber smuggling in Dara-i-Pech District of Kunar Province.
Meanwhile, officials of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Badakhshan Police Command handed over 12 different types of weapons—including seven Kalashnikovs, four pistols, and one shotgun—to the DIAG office of the command. The weapons had been seized from criminals and suspects during the investigation of criminal cases.
