Two Public-Utility Projects Worth More Than AFN 27 Million Inaugurated in Takhar

Two public-utility projects with a combined value of more than AFN 27 million, including a new fire station, perimeter wall, and security towers at the Ay Khanum Border Port in Dasht-e-Qala District of Takhar Province, were officially inaugurated and put into operation during a ceremony.
The projects were inaugurated by Mawlavi Fazal-ur-Rahman “Haqani,” Director of Facilities of the General Directorate of Construction of the Ministry of Interior, along with his delegation.
Local officials, police personnel, Ay Khanum Border Port officials, and a number of elders and representatives of the local community attended the ceremony.
During the event, Mawlavi Fazal-ur-Rahman “Haqani” and his delegation praised the efforts and cooperation of the officials involved in implementing and completing the projects. They also emphasized the proper maintenance, protection, and effective use of the newly established facilities.
Officials described the completion of these projects as an important step toward strengthening security infrastructure, enhancing firefighting and service capacities, protecting government facilities, and creating a safer environment for commercial and economic activities at Ay Khanum Border Port.
