Five Taliban Militants Killed in Maidan Wardak

Five Taliban militants were killed and three others arrested during overnight operation carried out by Afghan National Police (ANP) in Shaniz Daree and Dando villages, Sayed Abad district of Maidan Wardak.

ANP have seized a huge quantity of explosive substances and four motorcycles.

In the meantime, yesterday, a Taliban militant who was planting Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was arrested during an operation of the Afghan National Police (ANP) in Jalriz district of Maidan Wardak.
